Giclée print of cheeky jungle bird and her favorite monstera plant, carefully reproduced using archival ink on beautifully textured, archival matte paper.

The story behind the art

The bird had toned down her behavior, manners and even her gorgeous feathered dress-code most of her life. Here she is shyly (but finally!) emerging from the comforting shadows of a lush jungle (or is that just a house plant? doesn't matter I guess, because she's getting out there). The bird is well decided to do whatever the hell she exactly wants to do, and to be loved for whomever the hell she exactly is, with her flaws, her torments, but also beautiful songs, her joy in plucking blades of grass or pecking on flowers, all the colors, the sun, the cold, the resilience, the insecurity, the strength of a warrior, the regrets, the dreams, blue, pink, yellow and green... and a healthy dose of wildly growing monsteras.

Quality

The finest materials

Each piece is digitally printed by the artist herself with a technique called giclée, capturing the essence and vibrancy of her art. She sourced only materials from manufacturers replying to the highest standards of the industry, such as Hahnemühle. Archival pigment ink on museum grade (ISO 9706), acid-free and lignin-free paper allow each print, if treated well, to last a lifetime.
