The story behind the art

The tide is strong, but we'll stay, together. Tide is a reflection on how liberating it is to finally integrate an invisible difference, a disability. Knowing, seeing and understanding is not the same as owning. Owning allows to belong. Owning allows to recognize those who share a similar reality. Owning allows to connect and bond over that shared reality, over vulnerability.
Being able to do just that has dragged me out of the darkest places. It has given me wings, it has made way to more potential, to more joy, to opportunities that are a better fit with who I am.
There's relief in defining oneself, and there's power in being able to live as such.
It is a long way there, unfolding every layer and blooming through it all. Like many of us, I am still stumbling and fumbling. But doing so in the light, amongst those that share my differences and disabilities is soothing and empowering. I can see them, and they can see me.
With my work, I hope that I can make you feel very welcome into this powerful warmth.

Quality

The finest materials

Each piece is digitally printed by the artist herself with a technique called giclée, capturing the essence and vibrancy of her art. She sourced only materials from manufacturers replying to the highest standards of the industry, such as Hahnemühle. Archival pigment ink on museum grade (ISO 9706), acid-free and lignin-free paper allow each print, if treated well, to last a lifetime.
